Who We Are
My name is Kimi, and my husband and I own Blessed Roots Farmstead. We live in Toney, Alabama on a few acres of farmland with our three children, where we raise chickens, goats, and rabbits.
I make goat milk and chicken egg soaps, herbal remedies, bath products, tallow balm, fermented foods, and sourdough bread. If it’s grown on the farm, there’s a use for it.
We breed goats for milk and meat, and we also breed rabbits for meat. We keep anywhere between fifty and a hundred chickens at any time. We incubate eggs and hatch chicks, for both flock sustainability and selling chicks. We are also willing to sell goat kids and kits so that others can start their own homesteads.
Helping others begin their own farm and homestead journeys brings us joy.
We’re just trying to carve out a little sustainability for our family, learning faith-filled lessons along the way.
