All the silkies are named after Lord of the Rings characters. we started with hobbit names and then moved on to other characters when we ran out of hobbits. This is our escaped mini Rex rabbit Dill. He was born to one of our mama rabbits (Hyacinth), and around 6 weeks old, decided he was a wildling. For anyone who says domesticated rabbits can’t live in the wild, I offer you Dill. We don’t know where he goes most of the time, but we see him almost daily in our pasture, front and back yards, and even in the neighbors’ yards. He has become somewhat of a neighborhood fixture and constant source of joy when anyone sees him. This is one of our newest barn cats. She has become very sweet, but when we first brought her home, she was not so nice, so we started calling her Precious. The name stuck.
